Show 2009
PRBCC SHOW 18th JULY 2009
With apologies for the late posting, here is a brief report on the Show. A full report will be included in the Rags Progress published early next year.
Thanks to everybody that attended, helped out on the day and contributed beforehand to make a successful Show with 67 Ragdolls and Non-pedigrees entered. Thanks to our judges on the day, Sheila Hamilton, John Hansson, Sally Rainbow-Ockwell, Barbara Prowse, Chris Titterington and Sue Young.
Best in Show saw the following cats shown in front of the panel of judges with onlookers assembled to acclaim the overall winners.
BIS HP was between the Best LH, an 8 year old Silver White (MC Silver Sam) owned by Mrs Plant, and the SH, 11and a half year old Tabby (MC Bobbit) owned by Mrs Joanne Stewart. Bobbit was the overall winner for the fourth time at our Show.
BIS Adult Ragdoll was between 2 year old Gr Ch Bluegems Teddie Bear, a seal bicolour owned by Mrs Liz Percival, and Adatelo Joseph, an 11 month old seal mitted owned by Harriet Gledstone. Teddie Bear prevailed on this occasion to gain BIS Adult.
There was only one kitten, 4 month old Emerisle Sho-Shonea, a seal tortie colourpoint owned and bred by Jeanette Fitzpatrick.
BIS Neuter was between 9 month old Magisragis Persephone, a male seal bicolour, owned and bred by Margaret Lynch, and 7 year 4 month old Ch & Gr Pr Sonnywood Nutmeg, a seal tortie colourpoint owned by Glyn and Dawn Davies who was then made BIS Neuter.
John Hansson then judged the three section winners and awarded Overall BIS to the kitten, Emerisle Sho-Shonea.

These are difficult times for a lot of people but do try and come next year to the same venue on the 17th July 2010, all will be welcome!
