(September 22, 2010)It is quite possible by now that some of you viewing this site have already viewed the video footage on Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-JH1FUOD2c - if you have then it is essential to make it clear that the handling of a Ragdoll, or indeed any cat or kitten, by its tail as shown is totally unacceptable and putting the cat at great risk of serious injury to its spine. The images shown may be misinterpreted as evidence that the Ragdoll as a Breed can tolerate higher levels of pain than other breeds thus continuing one of the many myths that exist regarding the Breed ie that they do not feel pain - this is a complete fallacy.
